It took a while to get going (thanks, COVID) but I’m finally working at my new job (Job #1) & I’m beyond happy there. 🙂 Today marks the end of my third week.
A month to the day I was fired, I was hired with an amazing company. I’m in Accounts Receivable which is right up my alley. I’m finally in a position where I’m not everyone’s bitch lol. I work with others who have an awesome sense of humor, love true crime, & aren’t afraid to say “fuck.” They’re unbelievably supportive & encouraging.
It’s funny because after being in such a toxic place, it feels like a dream. Sometimes, it doesn’t feel real. I’m making twice as much as my last job for doing half the job I was doing. Maybe not even that much. Maybe a third. I’m way happier & I don’t dread working. In fact, I look forward to it. There are so many positives. I could spend all day going on & on about it.
I’ve been swamped with work. I’m pretty much balls-to-the-wall from the time I clock in until I clock out. It’s really just because I’m diving in during a crazy, crazy time. But I love it. And no one is blowing up my phone after hours. When I’m out, I’m out. And that’s a big fucking deal.
So yeah. I’m happy. 🙂
Today’s post is “short & sweet.” I need to get back & try to finish up this project before the weekend hits. I wanted to give you an update that I’m financially able to breathe again.
