Happy Earth Day!
This is the first year where I’m actively trying to do some good towards our planet. I went to Container Store today & bought reusable bags, bento boxes, & reusable sporks. I think this is gonna be a great turn around in my life. As I said yesterday, I don’t want to be wasteful anymore. I want to use what I have & use just enough. Not too much, not too little. Minimalism at its finest!
The woman who was ringing me up asked if it was okay if she put my kitchen items in a larger bin I was using so that she didn’t need to use a plastic bag. “YES! That’s exactly what I wanted to do!” I said it just like that LOL. Thankfully, she smiled & nodded like she totally agreed with me. She seemed proud. Solidarity sisters!
I’m excited to see what kind of change I can make in this coming year. Even if I only switch out cleaning products & lunch items, I believe I’m still making a difference. š
